Thank you for supporting The Acorn!
Beginning in 2020 every performing arts venue in the world shut down. Every single one. Our industry was hit hard. We shuttered The Acorn’s doors in March 2020 and didn’t open them again until June 2021. But ours is not a sad story; it is one of resilience and creativity. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, The Acorn has not only survived, we have thrived!
While the theater was closed during the pandemic, the staff worked tirelessly to create an environment that was as safe and comfortable as possible. We brought you more Acorn Anywhere! outdoor events, and when it was safe to do so, we opened our doors and welcomed artists such as Judy Collins, Dennis Quaid, David Bromberg, Tab Benoit, the BoDeans. And for the 9th year in a row, we hosted our popular Acorn Singer-Songwriter competition. How is that for perseverance?!?
Through your generous support and the tireless efforts of our staff, volunteers, and board, The Acorn has remained strong. 2022 promises to be an exciting year! We are hard at work scheduling new, diverse events, building our staff, and making additional much-needed building repairs. Won't you help us ensure The Acorn remains the preeminent performing arts organization in Harbor Country? Please make your donation today.
