The Acorn Dramatic Arts (TADA) Program

The Acorn Dramatic Arts program exists to introduce and grow a love of musical theater to children and teens in the community who have no experience, and flourish musical theater as a passion for children and teens in the community who have already begun their exploration of musical theater.

We believe that there is something for everybody to love about theater – whether that’s the stage, set building, stage managing, backstage tech, or any other little detail that goes into a production.

The Acorn Dramatic Arts (TADA) 2024 Summer Youth Camp – Alice In Wonderland

July 8 through August 1, 2024

Grow your love for musical theater in this four week long camp at The Acorn!
For ages 8 –16. All experience levels are welcome.

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE  Monday, July 1st at 12 noon ET.

LEARN and PRACTICE:

  • Acting
  • Set Building
  • Stage Managing
  • Backstage Tech
  • and MORE!

This camp will operate Monday through Thursday, from 9:00am-12:00pm ET. Camp will begin on July 8th, 2024 and will conclude on August 1st with TWO performances of Alice in Wonderland for friends and family of the camper, a camp picnic, and concluding with an evening performance for the community!

JazzReach is a nationally recognized New York City-based 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, performance, creation and teaching of jazz music. Concerts featuring JazzReach’s renown Metta Quintet will be held at The Acorn on Tuesday, November 28 and Wednesday, November 29 at 7pm ET.
