The Acorn Singer-Songwriter Competition

The Acorn's annual Singer-Songwriter Competition is an opportunity for musical artists to win cash prizes and performing opportunities! The 2025 Acorn Singer-Songwriter Competition is open for entries – the deadline to apply is Thursday, May 8 @ 12pm (noon) ET. Six Singer-Songwriters will be selected as Finalists to perform on Saturday, July 19 at The Acorn in Three Oaks, Michigan.

Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights

The Acorn's Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights is a 10-minute play writing competition open to writers across the United States to bring top-tier original works to the area. The 2025 competition is open for entries – the deadline to apply is Friday, May 9 before midnight. Finalists will be announced on Friday, August 1. Join us for the Finals on Saturday, November 15th.
