The Erly w/ Lost Pyramids

Friday, Dec. 30 | 8:00pm ET (7:00pm CT)

FunkRock

The Erly returns to The Acorn! The Erly is an indie soul band that takes heavy influences from the 60s and 70s. They combine three and four-part harmonies with eclectic groove beats, smooth guitar solos, and roaring organ to create a sound that is breezy soft rock filled with funk and soul.

About the Artist:

The Erly is Collin Mattiford, Trevor McDonald, Alyssa Serviss, and Fran Gleason — four musical tastes and backgrounds brought together in one unified collective. Their new album, Reckless, dropped on November 19th, 2021.

From disco-funk tracks like “Jasmine” and “Echoes of Your Love” to the breezy, relaxed “Hey Amanda”, RECKLESS focuses on topics of modern love, heartache, and the methods we use to suppress or overcome our troubles. As a working band, The Erly’s live show serves up a concoction of four-part harmonies, roots-rock groove, and a live set of jam band grittiness. They believe in high octane performances that differ night-to-night, allowing the crowd to experience a show that is one of a kind.
