Kathy Sprau was the founder and owner of a senior services business in Chicago for 18 years. She and her husband, Collin spent many years splitting their time between the north shore of Chicago and Crested Butte, CO. As their family of 5 children grew to include significant others and 9 grandchildren, a second home in Harbor Country made sense. Shortly after purchasing in the area, Kathy sold her business and they now make Harbor Country home full time.

Kathy has spent years volunteering and doing development and fundraising with many organizations, including Indiana University Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council, Adaptive Sports Center in Crested Butte, CO, University of Chicago Cancer Research Auxiliary Board, P.T.A. and their church.

Although mostly retired, Kathy still has a role as industry advisor to a senior services digital startup in New York and enjoys gardening, biking and life in the country. She is looking forward to working on the board as The Acorn enters a new and exciting time.
