About Ken Yates
Born and raised in London, Ontario Ken Yates is one of Canada's brightest singer/songwriters. Ken was awarded the Canadian Folk Music Awards for English Songwriter of the Year and New/Emerging Artist of the Year in 2017. “Two Wrongs” is the first single from Ken Yates’s new album, Quiet Talkers, coming in 2020 and produced by Jim Bryson.

The Acorn, a nonprofit organization, annually hosts a singer songwriter competition and a Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights. Our Open Mic nights showcase a variety of strong talent and our educational workshops include songwriting and master classes in performance.
