The Grass Roots, rock & roll legends with over twenty million records sold worldwide, will perform their classic hits “Let’s Live For Today” “Midnight Confessions” “Temptation Eyes,” and many more!

The Grass Roots consistently produced quality music in their heyday from 1966 to 1975.   Many of their hits are still seeing heavy rotation on oldies stations to this day.

  • From 1967 to 1972, The Grass Roots set a record for being on the Billboard charts 307 straight weeks.
  • One of only nine bands that have charted twenty nine or more Top 100 Billboard singles.
  • Sold over twenty million records worldwide.
  • Hold the all time attendance record for a one act, the US concert of 600,000 people on July 4th, 1982 in Washington, DC.
  • Have appeared on over 50 national television shows.
  • Achieved one platinum album, two gold albums, thirteen gold singles and charted singles a total of twenty-nine times.

The Acorn brings great known performers and amazing new ones to southwest Michigan.  Located in the historic featherbone factory, The Acorn’s friendly staff and volunteers, and an acoustically rich sound system combine for memorable experiences. We’re located in Three Oaks, Michigan …  just over an hour from downtown Chicago and 30 minutes from South Bend, IN.

The Acorn, a nonprofit organization, annually hosts a singer songwriter competition and a Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights. Our Open Mic nights showcase a variety of strong talent and our educational workshops include songwriting and master classes in performance.
