Get an early start on celebrating St. Pat's this year with internationally renowned SWITCHBACK. Anchored by the award-winning Midwestern-based musical duo of Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack, Switchback's brand of original music has made them an international touring sensation. They are also building a presence on PBS-TV and NPR radio across the United States.

Over the years, the duo has shared the stage with notable Celtic musicians such as Cherish the Ladies, Gaelic Storm, Liz Carroll, and John Williams. They annually tour Ireland and other parts of the world.

This pre-St. Patrick's Day Acorn Theater performance will feature a variety of Celtic music styles and songs -- ranging from sea shanties, jigs, and traditional folk favorites. Original compositions from Switchback's own albums will be performed as well.

Their beautifully-crafted songs move feet and sway hearts. In concert, Switchback's mandolin, guitar, bass and percussion flow alongside rich vocal harmonies to create a sonic journey sure to leave all in the audience feeling upbeat and just a wee bit Irish for the evening.
