Small Town – A John Mellencamp Experience returns to The Acorn. This dynamic seven-piece ensemble is dedicated to faithfully recreating the legendary catalog of John Mellencamp. Featuring a rich instrumentation, the band brings authentic heartland rock energy to every performance.

About the Artists:

Small Town is the Nation’s best and most authentic John Mellencamp Experience! This seven-piece band replicates 30+ yrs of the John Mellencamp music Catalog using violin, mandolin, accordion, melodica, keyboards, guitars and drums!

With over 25 chart topping hits like Jack and Diane, Cherry Bomb, ROCK in the USA, Small Town, Pink Houses, Check It Out, Lonely Ol Nights, I Need a Lover, Authority Song, Hurts So Good, Scarecrow and many more… This high energy show will have the crowd singing and dancing the night away!

The band is made up of 7 Hoosier natives who have replicated the Mellencamp live shows with their 50+ years of cumulative stage experience and musicianship.

About The Acorn Center for the Performing Arts

The Acorn brings great known performers and amazing new ones to southwest Michigan.  Located in the historic featherbone factory, The Acorn’s friendly staff and volunteers, and an acoustically rich sound system combine for memorable experiences. We’re located in Three Oaks, Michigan …  just over an hour from downtown Chicago and 30 minutes from South Bend, IN.

The Acorn, a nonprofit organization, annually hosts a singer songwriter competition and a Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights. Our Open Mic nights showcase a variety of strong talent and our educational workshops include songwriting and master classes in performance.
