Open Mic Night with host Down By The Docks
Thursday, Apr. 11 | 8:00pm ET (7:00pm CT)
Down by the Docks comprises, literally, "Generations of Jazz", with 22 talented musicians from 16 to 70+ years joining to perform everything from 1940's big band, to 70's and 80's rock, to some of today's most popular hits. Known as our "Bamily" (band family) this group has a chemistry and sound that you are sure to enjoy. Our full compliment includes alto and tenor saxophones, two trombones, six trumpets, drums, piano, guitar and bass guitar.
Directed by Mr. Richard Sprague, former teacher & music director, the band has played together for over 7 years, performing for the Women's Professional Baseball League, the Olympic torch run through Indiana along with Mr. Billy Stix, as well many area Music Festivals, company celebrations, and Charity Fund raisers.
