About the Featured Artist:

The Champagne Experience is a collaboration of outstanding musicians, with the core being Steve and Mary "E" Champagne. The "Champagne Duo" began performing together almost 2 decades ago. When others join them, it becomes a full-out Experience, the Champagne Experience.

Mary E. was born and raised in Kankakee to a very musical family. A graduate of Kankakee SD111 and ONU, she cut her musical teeth singing with award-winning musical groups, had numerous leading roles in musical productions, and was a guest vocalist with the municipal band for over 17 years. In 2007, she and husband Steve Champagne formed their acoustic band, and have since performed in and around Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana, and Southwest Michigan. Currently, Mary is a lead vocalist with Champagne Experience, and loves to sing with high energy, passion, and tight harmonies with hubby Steve and other featured musicians. Steve Champagne was born and raised outside of Milwaukee, WI. He began playing piano at the age of 9, then pursued trumpet and ultimately guitar. Some call him a walking jukebox! His pitch-perfect harmonies lend well to the best songs of the 60s and '70s, with an emphasis on great vocal covers!
