Grand Rapids, MI based duo In The Valley Below has often been compared to a cross between Phil Collins and The Kills. Known for their major Billboard hit "Peaches" in 2015 off their first album The Belt, In The Valley Below has excelled with nationwide recognition, performing live on Conan and David Letterman, opening for popular bands like The Airborne Toxic Event, Robert DeLong, Cold War Kids, and Sir Sly.  Coming off their recent sell out tour with Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes, the duo recently announced the release of their new album "The Pink Chateau" to be debuted April 26th with a visual silent film to follow the album.

Acorn Favorite Opener Fragile Soul is an alt rock/soul group from Hammond, IN that won The Acorn's 2015 Singer-Songwriter Competition and has opened for another Acorn Favorite James Neary and the Bevy Blue.

The Acorn brings great known performers and amazing new ones to southwest Michigan.  Located in the historic featherbone factory, The Acorn’s friendly staff and volunteers, and an acoustically rich sound system combine for memorable experiences. We’re located in Three Oaks, Michigan …  just over an hour from downtown Chicago and 30 minutes from South Bend, IN.

The Acorn, a nonprofit organization, annually hosts a singer songwriter competition and a Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights. Our Open Mic nights showcase a variety of strong talent and our educational workshops include songwriting and master classes in performance.
