Originally from the UK, Callaghan moved to the USA in 2010 to tour and record with Grammy-nominated US artist Shawn Mullins. Since then she’s become a headliner in multiple cities across the US and UK. Playing piano and guitar Callaghan delivers a stunning vocal which earns frequent comparisons with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Emmylou Harris. Her songwriting chronicles the stories, experiences and emotions which are part of everyone’s lives.

Priscilla Sabourin is an up and coming singer songwriter who took first place in the 2019 Acorn Theater Singer Songwriter Competition. She is performing original songs for school concerts, community events, talent shows and open mics.
Abbie Thomas was born in Bakersfield, CA, she has adopted Goshen, Indiana as home. This alto, singer-songwriter artist mixes catchy melodies with hard-hitting, truthful lyrics. She has partnered with Nashville producer, Kelly James Schoenfeld (whose resume includes Jewel, Michael McDonald, Martina McBride, and Brad Paisley) to record her first EP which will be released in the fall.

The Acorn brings great known performers and amazing new ones to southwest Michigan.  Located in the historic featherbone factory, The Acorn’s friendly staff and volunteers, and an acoustically rich sound system combine for memorable experiences. We’re located in Three Oaks, Michigan …  just over an hour from downtown Chicago and 30 minutes from South Bend, IN.

The Acorn, a nonprofit organization, annually hosts a singer songwriter competition and a Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights. Our Open Mic nights showcase a variety of strong talent and our educational workshops include songwriting and master classes in performance.
