Abbie Thomas & The Crazy Hearts: Kids on Christmas Tour

Friday, Dec. 11 | 8:00pm ET (7:00pm CT)

FamilyHoliday

Independent artist Abbie Thomas launched her first holiday tour in 2025, visiting 10 Midwest venues and performing for nearly 1,000 patrons. Her 2025 holiday EP, Kids On Christmas, received multiple international award nominations and won Jazz Album of the Year at The Naptones. The 2026 tour will bring the songs from the EP back to the stage alongside Thomas’ soulful takes on holiday favorites including I’ll Be Home for Christmas and White Christmas, all given the distinctive retro soul and jazz treatment of Thomas & The Crazy Hearts. The comical fan-favorite tune, Single Bells, will be featured, as well.

About the Artist:

Abbie Thomas is an independent singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and seven-time independent music award winner. California born and Midwest made, Thomas blends retro soul, jazz, contemporary R&B, and blues with the warmth and storytelling of 1970s singer-songwriters.

Her music has received international recognition, including honors from the Josie Music Awards and Hollywood Independent Music Awards. In 2026, Thomas was invited to become a member of the Recording Academy, joining the organization responsible for the GRAMMY Awards.

At the heart of Thomas’ music is a voice that can move from husky and intimate to powerful and soulful, paired with songwriting that is honest, cinematic, and deeply human. Her live performances move just as freely, shifting from quiet, lyric-forward moments to groove-heavy, jam-driven arrangements. Alongside The Crazy Hearts, Thomas leaves room for the music to breathe and change in the moment. The band’s musical intuition allows them to read a room, reshape arrangements, stretch out, and improvise together, making each performance feel alive rather than simply reproduced from a recording. The result is a concert that can make an audience laugh, reflect, sing along, or simply get lost in the music.
