Founder

David Fink is a co-founder and original board member of The Acorn. He also served as an Interim board president. David is also co-founder of Outspoken LGBTQ+ storytelling in Chicago. He is a founder and past board chairman of Harbor Arts and he programmed Music in the Park for many years. David is a past board member and board chair of the Poetry Center of Chicago.  He is also a past board member and board chair of The Chicago Improv Festival, staying involved beginning when the organization was only a plan. David is a recipient of the Michigan theater Wilde award. David Fink holds a BA from University of Michigan and an MBA from Northwestern. He worked in manufacturing for 25 years, ending as president of Allied Metal Co.
